Okay Summer is obviously here and it’s hot and sweaty summer weather… so I vote we just all live by the pool for the rest of the summer!!!! You with me?
But you know what else summer means? Summer means it’s time to break out the waterproof mascara… because who has time to constantly check their makeup every 15 seconds at the pool? Not me! And I definitely do not want my smudged mascara to try to make an Avril Lavigne eyeliner comeback!
Or you could just never ever take off your sunglasses and hide your bare lashes…

Even if we are just chasing babies or hanging out with girlfriends, I think we all can agree a little lash magic can do wonders! Mascara is my number one makeup product I almost never leave the house without it, even if the rest of the face is bare.

Let’s go over a few common Q+A’s:
Q: What is a lash perm?
A: A lash perm is very similar to a hair perm. There is a tiny rod that is placed on your lash line. Your lashes will then be pushed up on the rod with a little adhesive (similar to fake lash glue). Then both the perm and the neutralizer solution is applied. Afterwards, your lashes will be rolled off the tiny perm rod and wah-lah … all done! (Check out the in process pic below!)
Q: How long does a perm last?
A: Up to 3 months depending on how often you are scrubbing your face and your lash cycle (when your lashes naturally fall out and regrow).
Q: What is a lash tint?
A: Basically what you think. Similar to hair color, your lashes will be dyed with color. Most people opt for midnight black.
Q: How long does the tint last?
A: Similar to the perm, it depends on face washing and lash cycle. For most people 3 or 4 weeks.
Q: How long does the service take?
A: Both services will take about 45 min start to finish but an hour max. Majority of that time is laying there with your eyes closed while the product is processing. Each solution sits for about 7-11 minutes. And yes, you are allowed to nap!
