We recently went to Ozark MO for a relatives wedding and had an opportunity to stay in a blissful farmhouse rental. It was GORGEOUS! I can’t wait for you to see all of the pictures. The property was tucked away amidst farmland feeling very dreamy and remote. However, it was still only a five minute drive to a grocery store that allowed for cooking in the beautiful and updated kitchen stocked with everything you could need including coffee and all the things to doctor it up.
There was even a momma and baby cow on site and in perfect view outside of the windows which was the cutest ever. The house was filled with four beautiful, rustic-farmhouse bedrooms, one being a king suite, two queen rooms, and then a double bed with a twin trundle underneath.
We were there in the fall when it was a bit nippy but it would have been so lovely to sit outside on the cozy chairs on the front patio outlooking the quiet farmlands. All of the bathrooms were beautiful and spacious.
This old farmhouse had been redone and redone so well. The best part of it all, this massive house with plenty of space for guests, cooking, and sharing a meal together was quite a value. I thought it would have been at least $300 a night, but it was about half that. You can’t even get a room at a hotel for two people for that price, let alone sleep 8 super comfortably.
