My Magnolia Silos Experience With Tons of Pics – My Experience Was So Different From Other Bloggers!

When near Waco, you better go to Magnolia Silos!

Well, that’s what they say.

We happened to be in Texas passing through and we (my husband and I) thought it would be kind of weird to be so close and not to go… so that’s why we did. We had zero intention of being sucked in all day or waiting in ridiculously long lines (as I have read from other bloggers if you didn’t get there at the crack of dawn), nor spending a fortune on home decor. However, we have been known to watch the show and we do like her style.

I’ll be posting a ton of pics since I feel like pictures explain more than words and it’s less time for me to explain and you to read!

I will say a few things about my magnolia silos experience first:

1. We went at the beginning of November.

2. We got there after the store had opened and went right in… no lines.

3. After we went to the bakery. The bakery opens before the store and apparently (according to other bloggers) by 7 am the line is wrapped around the building. We went straight in.

4. By the time we had gone around the store and ate our bakery treats, then there a short but fast-moving line for both store and bakery.

5. They apparently had been closed the day before to switch everything over to Christmas.

6. Josh got the s’mores cupcake. He said his favorite part was the frosting and the frosting was so amazing. I got the gluten free peanut butter cookie. It was par but I appreciate multiple gluten free options! 😉

Here we go with pics from my magnolia silos experience!

Final thoughts:

I’m glad we went. I mean we were so close to it, it would have been silly to miss it. I probably wouldn’t go again to be honest. It was great and all but I’m a thrifty shopper. Mainstream isn’t my thing. Everyone was so nice… Josh kind of wonders if they are trying to mimic Disney perfection. It was SPOTLESS and every said “hey y’all and where y’all from?” Even the bathrooms were subway tiled. The rest of Waco… well… We did stay about 20 minutes away and there was ton to do. It also had plenty of restaurants and a mall. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Have you been? What did you think?
