I love peanut butter cookies. Plus, give me a recipe with 4 ingredients, easy to remember, and it is delicious and I will be loyal for life!

I have been making these cookies since I was a little girl and it is still my go to, easy cookie recipe. They are flourless and cost next to nothing to make and you normally have all of the ingredients on hand.

You will need sugar, peanut butter, an egg, and vanilla.

And that is it! Posting this blog is making me crave a warm sweet peanut butter cookie right now.

TIME TO MAKE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

TOOLS NEEDED:

  • medium sized bowl
  • baking pan
  • 2 spoon or cookie scoop
  • fork
  • wooden spoon to mix ingredients
  • measuring tools (cup/tsp)

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl by hand or with hand mixer.

Bonus… Mix it in any order that suits you as I have never done it in a particular way. These cookies are totally fool proof!

Next, use two spoons to scoop and form balls and place on pan. Likewise, you can use a spoon and your hands but I hate getting my hands dirty. If you are having kids help, I am sure they would love to help and use their hands.

Finally take a regular dinner fork and press a criss cross mark on each cookie smashing them into a cookie shape.

Place cookies in the oven, set to 350, for 10 minutes. You can try the middle rack or do what I do- 5 minutes on the bottom rack and 5 minutes on the top rack.

Cool until set until you transfer them.

Store in a sealed container or ziplock bag for several days…. if they last!

Tip: As all ovens are different, and this can make two baking sheets worth, I like to do one pan at a time so that if I feel like the first batch comes out to soft or over done I can correct it for the second batch.

I hope you enjoy these easy cookies as much as my family does. Please tag me at @linjoylife if you try them or drop me a comment. You can also save any of these pictures to your Pinterest account for easy finding later.
